Know Their Story
In February 2025 Olly, Tiger, Jimmy Jacko and Poppy were all born in the playground of my daughters school. We tried to catch mum and collect her babies to bring them into safety but as mum is a totally feral cat and she ran. We placed the babies somewhere safe that mum regularly went away from the children and parents, hoping mum who had had many litters previously would return and continue to be the good mum she had always been in the past. Thankfully mum came back and took care of her babies, they stayed in the place we had prepared for them until they were ready to be weaned. At 5 weeks we decided it was time to catch them before they ventured off into the streets and we didn't see them again. They then went to one of our wonderful volunteers who has spent many hours getting them used to human contact and teaching them to play. (Mum was caught shortly after along with 2 others and sterilised).
